good food, pretty big portions, no contact, but they should have spice options like light, medium, high.

Stumbled upon this cafe whilst visiting an old friend in Irvine. We initially wanted to go to another cafe in the same plaza but were deterred bc of the ludicrously long line. All around good Taiwanese boba/snack shop for the price. I had an almond milk tea(25% sugar & ice that's mando) and we split fried chicken gizzards and fries. The outdoor seating area is not bad as well, very chill haha.

We came here because I once put grilled chicken pieces with a big bowl of popcorn and I called Popcorn Chicken the name got us! My bf tried the popcorn chicken. He said it was good, tender piece of chicken. I only tried the rice and veggies because I am veggi-ing it right now. Very streamlined ordering system. You don't even talk to anyone you just order on these massive iPads. A1 is dominating Irvine. Ambiance is very stale. No ambience. Not really made to be a dine in restaurant I don't think.

F O O D I used the Retail Therapy app to buy one get one free large popcorn chicken. I got the mild and my sis got the medium but we honestly couldn't tell the spice difference so beware if you can't handle spicy (Unless they accidentally seasoned both bags the same? Hence the -1 ). The chicken was so big and juicy! Definitely leagues above other popcorn chicken. There is also other snacks and boba to buy if you're craving anything else. S E R V I C E Typical fast service. Friendly staff. L O C A T I O N In a shopping plaza with Panda Express, Junbi, wagyu bowls and more. There was plenty of parking but on a weekend evening.
